Roots Of The Heart International Foundation is best known for our strength, dedication, faithfulness and determination joined with tenacity and commitment. It’s not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our staff, volunteers and professionals who hosts various programs, hands on training and teaching as well as our initiatives and life skills. Our organization realize that by working together we could overcome life challenges much more efficiently by partnering with proven reputable organizations such as The World Chamber of Commerce, The Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Each One Teach One, Former Globetrotter Bobby Hunter’s Artist’s for a Better World, and Louis Gossett Jr’s Eracism Foundation, Juneteenth just to name a few. We want to be remembered for effective, successful people acclimating to society with a fresh mindset and heart adjustment.
Culinary Program
Roots of the Heart has programs for 11 counties, and 2 countries providing integrated medical, dental, behavioral health outpatient, agricultural and residential treatment, as well as new citizen services available to over 50,000 people annually. We operate medical clinics for substance abuse, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Prescription Rx abuse, Veterans Affairs (VA) assistance for various needs including counselling and residential treatment, and transitional housing programs with a capacity to serve over 150 men and our vision for women through our affiliate networks. A disunited medical facility. We improve the health, safety, and productivity of our community’s most vulnerable populations.

Medical Treatment & Programs
Roots of the HEART offers mental health services, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance abuse of various types, including integrated treatment for residence with co-occurring substance use disorder and mental health problems. Our integrated treatment model treats both substance use disorder
and other mental health problems as primary and seeks to educate clients about how these conditions impact each other. We believe that individuals can be supported to manage even the most serious and chronic challenges caused by substance abuse, abandonment, depression and other abusive challenges in life, and we blend this recovery philosophy with the best evidence-based practices available in the behavioral health field of experience. Through our Medical program we provide our MedPod service where we bring your doctors to you.
Substance Use & Abuse Programs
Here at Roots of the HEART, we provide a full continuum of substance use disorder services to adults, veterans and families, custody-based, sober living environments, and case management programs. Our services are based upon evidence-based practices, so that the therapeutic environment and the clinical environment are appropriate and effective for the needs of the people in each program. The programs are gender-responsive and are open and welcoming to our residence families the qualify. We encourage our participants to invite their family members to join them for therapeutic and recreational activities whenever possible. This is one our most effective therapy practices.
Educational Division
Roots of the HEART, is a one stop location where we provide tools for creating a stable living environment by building skills, accessing resources, and modelling professional
behavior through our hand-on training and at our in house locations currently in Georgia, California as well as West Africa.

Employment Services
We teach our residence the skills they will need to conduct successful job searches, and or entrepreneur endeavors throughout their lives, in addition to identifying immediate

• Resume and Cover Letter Writing

Housing & Community Services
Because finding affordable housing is often a challenge, we prepare residence for their housing search by providing the tools they need to obtain affordable housing. Roots of the HEART develops and maintains relationships with a variety of property management companies, Rental assistance companies, housing facilities, and sober living facilities if
needed.
