Dr. Qarlah Prince

Foundation I’m responsible for developing and implementing strategies and policies to ensure that the foundation will meet the goals determined by the board of directors. I commit to work closely with the organisation’s board of directors. Stabilizing their function as ROTH’s Managing Director(s) of our organizations operations and serve as the link between the different departments of ROTH.

Overseer of federal requirements of documentation of services and eligibility. Through staff, exit plan participation with facility reports, observation one-on-one evaluation and daily health screening; We provide a secure and safe transition here at ROTH. We manage multiple programs daily while delegating to the specific qualified professional leaders. We strive to provide services to Veterans, alcohol, substance abuse users and ex-offenders. Our goals are to provide them with safe drug free transitional housing: to stabilize employment, and to provide them with easy access to ongoing treatment and
support to help them become self-sufficient so that they may be able to start a new life and to help them fight their struggle with addiction and break the cycle of homelessness and substance abuse. The program focus on adult ex-offenders, who will be allowed to receive housing, education, job training and general life/sustainability skills.

Here at Roots of the HEART International Foundation we provide indirect as well as direct services and transitional; support for qualified residence. Serving in several capacities this role requires both attention to detail and creativity. As a structured recovery residency to males being released from the penal system and a 12-step program for individuals seeking recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Transitional housing is generally for a limited time period. We have a six month policy with a special extension program in place for those who qualify. Stays her at ROTH can range from two months to six months and may be longer under special circumstances. Roots of the HEART provides, sober housing, supportive housing along with our qualified professionals to shift the desire for drugs, substance abuse issues, emotional issues, physical issues and many more that are associated with the effects of being codependent. Our goal is to transition them back to society using our alcohol and substance abuse treatment programs. Our home is where residents recover from various types of abuse providing people with help after a life crisis such as homelessness or incarceration.

Currently we have over 100 transitional housing locations in the state of Georgia. These are sober living environments for individuals from all walks of life… Its still not enough. My primary responsibility is to lead Roots of the HEART International Foundation.
